Request for Graphics and/or Lettering on Vehicle

Use this service to apply for permission to add graphics and/or lettering to your vehicle, as required by Road Traffic Regulations Section 20(2).

Important information

  • Graphics cannot be placed on windows or windscreens.
  • Graphics must not be offensive, contentious, or sensitive in nature.
  • Graphics must not breach any trademarks.
  • Graphics must not be sexual in nature.

How to apply

Complete the online form to submit your request. The Barbados Licensing Authority will review your application and notify you of the outcome.

What you will need to share

Before you start, make sure you have the following information available:

  • Your name and contact details
  • Business name (if applicable)
  • Vehicle registration number (if applicable)
  • Details of the proposed graphics or lettering for each position on the vehicle
  • Images of the proposed graphics (you will be asked to describe these)
